記得25年前 午餐時間的校園裡都會放著這首歌

十幾歲的我並沒有認真的思考這首歌曲的意義

WE ARE THE WORLD就是好聽=流行

經過歲月的洗禮

再聽這首歌  

為了援助海地大地震，25年後這首 We Are The World 進行重新灌唱，

近年來各種天災不時的接連發生

同在一個地球上的我們

是否願意讓自己也能成為他人的幫助,

雖然我們無法做到台東菜販陳樹菊阿桑那種無私慷慨的完全奉獻

但就像WE ARE THE WORLD歌詞中所說的

我們正在做選擇

我們真的可以創造一個更好的明天就靠你和我

那麼!將你的心傳遞給需要的人

25年前,這首宣示著種族和平的義賣單曲是1985年美國歌手所灌錄的慈善精曲，是為了拯救非洲飢荒,由美國黑人歌手Harry Belafonte (哈利貝拉方提)所倡議，由Quincy Jones (昆西瓊斯)擔任製作人，在1985年由 Michael Jackson 和Lionel Richie 共同譜寫該曲子，後由 Michael Jackson 填詞完成由45位當紅歌星雲集洛杉磯的錄音室，灌錄了We Are the World (四海一家)。
